What is your role on the board?
Interim CEO
Why did you join Women in Transport?
I responded to a Linkedin post by Women in Transport looking to recruit a volunteer lead for a new regional hub opening in the West Midlands. I wasn't sure at the time what I could bring to the role but felt I should use my experience to help others. With a little encouragement from my daughter I sent in my application and I've been hooked ever since.
What do you enjoy most about being part of Women in Transport?
We are a community and we support each other. There's a wealth of knowledge that everyone is happy to share. The support and kindness is amazing. Meeting new people and contributing to making a difference in the transport industry is inspiring.
