We’re delighted to announce that Women in Transport will be represented at Strictly Highways 2023 held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool from 3rd - 5th October 2023. If you are in attendance come and visit us at stand 48. This year’s event will explore collaborative solutions to meet local road demands. The event will bring together the highways community, including local councils and the Department of Transport.

It will take place at Austin Court in Birmingham on Tuesday 26th September and will bring together public and private sector planners and engineers, academics, students, activists and anyone else interested in the built environment and how we move around it.

The Face of Engineering Festival 2022
The North East Regional Hub of Women in Transport have teamed up with the The Common Room for a day-long conference, celebrating the diverse faces in engineering, and driving action around the recruitment and retention of women, LGBTQ+ people, and people of colour in the industry.
We will hear from a range of inspiring engineers via a number of panel discussions, talks and workshops, open to all who are passionate about changing the current face of engineering.
The panel sessions will be chaired by BBC Radio presenter, Ngunan Adamu. Information about panelists and facilitators will be announced in the coming weeks.
A half day conference from A Matter of Choice will focus on launching their Mental Toughness research findings, how to invest in yourself, the best way to start and what to avoid, as well as expert advice from the professionals on how to achieve your dreams.
