Join us for an exceptional celebration of International Women’s Day this March

The Scotland hub of Women in Transport is delighted to partner with JM Murdoch for an exclusive access of their facility in Neilston.

Founded in 1965 by John and Margaret Murdoch, the company gradually moved from its humble beginnings as a small family-run business to an expansive, varied and specialised range of vehicles. In 2025 the company celebrates its 60 years anniversary and opens its doors for an exceptional day.

This year is also Women in Transport 20th anniversary and we are delighted to welcome members and non-members to celebrate International Women’s Day.

What to expect

Across a 2.5 hour session you will hear from senior leaders in the industry and learn from incredible organisations dedicated to promoting a greater gender balance in the transportation sector.

Arrivals on site by 11.30 will be followed by talks and a networking lunch will be provided before the event finishes at 14.00.

The site has step free access through a side-entrance. Please use the dedicated section in the registration form to indicate if you need the side entrance.

PPE is not required.

Getting there

JM Murdoch is accessible by public transport with direct trains from Glasgow every 30 minutes, and a 15 minute walk from Neilston station. Parking on site will be available and car sharing can be provided if required. Please use the dedicated section below to indicate if you need a lift. 

This event is open to members and non-members however spaces are limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment and let us know if you can no longer attend.
