Together with Women in Health and Safety, we invite you to a panel discussion where you will hear first hand about the experiences of three senior women who have built incredibly successful careers in traditionally male dominated environments and how they overcame some of the challenges they met along the way.
Mark Lomas, Head of Diversity and Inclusion at HS2 will also be talking about the innovative steps being taken at HS2 to increase female representation in the transport sector and will be joining the panel to discuss the barriers that exist for women in the industry and how they can be removed to create success for all.
The speakers include:
- Holly Price, Vice President and first National Female Officer of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors & Director of Training and Development at the Keltbray Group
- Lynn Way, Vice President, National Access and Scaffolding Confederation
- Jacqueline O’Donovan, Fellow of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport & MD of O'Donovan Waste Disposal
- Mark Lomas, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at HS2
There will be a Q & A session facilitated by Clive Johnson, Group Head of Health, Safety and Security at Landsec. This will give the audience the opportunity to ask the panel more about achieving career success, lessons learnt and gender parity issues across their industries. It promises to be a lively discussion.
After the formal session, we hope that you will join us for networking over drinks and canapés.
The event is open to both men and women and members and non-members of Women in Transport but registration is essential. Please don't hesitate to invite colleagues or friends who would be interested in attending.
We hope to see you there.
